At Nutroplex MarketPlays: Playground for Future CEOs, the answer was clear: confidence, focus, and proud parenting moments. Held last January 24 and 25 at the Greenhills Mall Activity Center, the two-day event transformed an ordinary mall visit into an experience where learning felt like play—and play became a foundation for real-life skills.

 Serial entrepreneur and motivational speaker RJ Ledesma shared his experience and valuable insights on starting a business.

For many moms, weekends are about squeezing in family time, errands, and enrichment activities all at once. MarketPlays blended all three. The highlight of the event was the kiddie seller-run stalls, where children stepped into the role of young entrepreneurs. From pricing their items to explaining their ideas to customers, kids practiced decision-making, communication, and problem-solving—skills parents know are just as important as academics. Watching them complete their first “sales” became a proud moment not just for the kids, but for the moms cheering them on from the sidelines.

Beyond the mini marketplace, the venue buzzed with hands-on learning stations designed to keep young minds engaged. Activities from Robothink Philippines, S.A.M Singapore Math, and Nullspace encouraged logical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The crowd favorite, the “Nutty Scientist,” made science feel exciting and approachable, while serial entrepreneur and motivational speaker RJ Ledesma’s Kiddie CEO Talk inspired children to dream big and believe in their ideas. These activities showed parents how everyday play can support focus, confidence, and resilience—skills kids will carry into school and beyond.

Unilab leaders shared that the heart of MarketPlays was helping families experience Alagang Unilab beyond the product shelf.
