Big Bad Wolf Books BGC Sale Runs November 5–15, 2026

Book-loving families have another reason to visit BGC this November. Big Bad Wolf Books is coming to Bonifacio Global City for the first time, bringing its massive book sale to Park Triangle Mall from November 5 to 15, 2026.

The Big Bad Wolf Books BGC sale will take over the 5th Floor of Park Triangle Mall in Taguig, with free admission and daily operating hours from 10:00 AM until midnight.

This year’s event puts a special focus on families and young readers, with an expanded collection of children’s books, educational titles, activity books, fiction, and more.

For parents looking for ways to encourage their kids to read, the idea behind the sale is refreshingly simple: instead of making reading feel like another school requirement, start with something your child already loves.

Dinosaurs? Space? Animals? Arts and crafts? Fantasy adventures? There could be a book waiting to turn that interest into a new reading habit.

Here are the important details families need to know before heading to the sale:

Public Sale: November 5–15, 2026
Venue: 5th Floor, Park Triangle Mall, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig

With the sale staying open until midnight, families can fit a book-hunting trip into a BGC day out, whether it’s after school, after work, or part of a weekend family activity.

Helping Kids Find Books They Actually Want to Read

Big Bad Wolf Books is organizing its expanded children’s selection by age group, making it easier for parents to browse books appropriate for different stages, interests, and reading levels.

Jacqueline Ng, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, highlighted the importance of connecting readers not simply with more books, but with the right books—titles that reflect what they’re curious about and what they want to discover.

This year’s theme, “There’s a Book for Every Kind of You,” reflects that approach.

For moms and dads raising reluctant readers, it may be worth letting the kids take the lead during the sale. A child who isn’t interested in picking up a traditional storybook might happily spend an afternoon reading about dinosaurs, machines, bugs, the human body, or a favorite hobby.

Sometimes, finding the right subject is all it takes to make reading feel less like homework and more like discovery.

Children’s Books to Look Out For

Among the children’s titles featured for the event are Magic Magnifying Glass: Human Body by Gary Venn and Discover the Human Body: Lift-the-Flap Book by Jennie Bradley.

Families can also look out for How Things Work: 100 Ways Parents and Kids Can Share the Secrets of Technology by Neil Ardley, Big Words for Little People by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell, The Dictionary Story by Oliver Jeffers and Sam Winston, and Bug World: A 3-D Pop-Up Book by Thomas Nelson, illustrated by Julius Csotonyi.

The selection extends from interactive books for toddlers and educational books for young learners to fiction for teenagers, giving families choices for different stages of their children’s reading journeys.

Making Reading a Family Activity

Books can also become something parents and children discover together.

Big Bad Wolf partner Tim Yap encouraged visitors to “really immerse yourself in books” and give others “the gift of books,” which he described as “the gift of learning.”

It’s an idea that can be especially meaningful for families. A trip to a book sale doesn’t necessarily have to be about completing a school reading list. Kids can browse, explore covers, flip through pages, and find something that genuinely catches their attention.

And yes, moms and dads can hunt for their own books, too!

Families Can Join the Big Bad Wolf Book Hunt

The BGC event also adds an interactive activity to the usual book browsing experience with the Big Bad Wolf Book Hunt.

Participants receive a Book Hunt Card with prompts such as finding a book with a cover that catches their eye or discovering a title that surprises them.

Parents and children then have 10 minutes to explore the sale and find books matching the prompts on their cards.

The first 10 participants to complete the challenge will get to share their discoveries on stage and receive an exclusive Big Bad Wolf voucher or gift pack.

It’s a fun way to turn browsing through shelves into a family challenge while encouraging children to explore books they might not normally pick up.

Affordable Books for Different Kinds of Readers

Big Bad Wolf Books began in Malaysia in 2009 with the goal of making books more affordable and accessible.

Since then, the sale has visited more than 55 cities across 17 countries. Big Bad Wolf says selected markets have offered book discounts of up to 95%, although discounts and pricing available at the BGC event may vary.

The organization’s broader mission is to help cultivate reading habits by reducing one of the barriers that can keep families from building their own book collections: cost.

For parents, book fairs and large-scale sales can also be an opportunity to let children choose books for themselves without necessarily limiting the trip to titles assigned at school.

Whether you’re raising an enthusiastic little bookworm, trying to encourage a reluctant reader, shopping for educational materials, or simply looking for your own next read, the BGC sale could be worth adding to the family calendar this November.
