Adarna House and Fully Booked invites parents and kids to the launch of new books on August 26, 2017, Saturday, 1:00pm at the Children's Section, 2nd Floor, Fully Booked BGC .
To be introduced on this day is a picture book and coloring book tandem called Ang Halimaw ng mga Kulay. A translated version of Anna Llenas’ best-selling book from Spain, Ang Halimaw ng mga Kulay illustrates common emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and calm, gently encouraging young children to open up about their feelings.
Another title to be launched is Kayang-kaya! , written by Alyssa Judith Reyes, illustrated by Liza Flores, and winner of the 2016 Manguna sa Unang Pagbasa Short Story Writing Contest. This board book celebrates children’s early milestones and features a lace-up back cover to help kids learn how to tie their shoelaces.
On this day, Adarna House’s Unang Aklat collections (happy boxes containing board books for children 0-4 years old) will also be officially rolled out in Fully Booked branches across the country.
In a fun afternoon of storytelling and games , the launch will be followed by a free basic coloring workshop for kids (ages 7-12) with Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan.
