[24 February 2025] Mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has announced the launch of the Junior Plan, a first-of-its-kind postpaid plan designed to keep parents and their children connected while providing access to a curated suite of kid-friendly apps and a safer browsing experience through Smart’s Child Protection Platform.
Available as a supplementary line to Smart Postpaid subscribers on Plan 999 and up, the Junior Plan comes with monthly 10 GB open access data, Unli All-Net Calls and Texts, and unlimited access to the online learning platform Khan Academy, streaming apps YouTube [Kids] and Spotify, messaging apps Messenger [Kids] and Viber, and popular mobile gaming app Mobile Legends – all for only P499 per month.

With the Junior Plan, parents and their kids won’t have to worry about running out of load or having to top up, especially during critical moments.
Beyond keeping parents and their kids connected, the Junior Plan also provides monthly 10 GB open access data that children can use to browse websites for their homework, access educational apps, and explore their interests. This access is made safer with Smart’s Child Protection Platform, a cybersecurity solution that aims to ensure a more secure online experience for children by blocking access to illegal sites and links with inappropriate and abusive material.
Unlimited access to kid-friendly apps
For even greater value, the Junior Plan offers unlimited access to Khan Academy, a world-class learning platform for all ages, covering a wide range of subjects, from math and science to reading and history.
Kids can also easily connect with family and friends online via Messenger Kids and Viber, take a breather from their schoolwork as they stream their favorite shows on YouTube Kids, listen to their go-to Spotify playlist, or play with their peers on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – all on unlimited access with the Junior Plan. Older users also have the opt to use the regular version of the Messenger and YouTube app.
