Planning the next family vacation may get a little easier this October as Travel Sale Expo 2026 returns to SM Megamall from October 2 to 4, 2026, bringing travel deals, destinations, activities, and experiences together in one three-day event.

Now on its fourth year, the Travel Sale Expo carries the theme “Where Travel Dreams Come Alive.” The event is expected to welcome around 50,000 visitors, including families, travelers, adventure seekers, and those simply looking for ideas for their next trip.

 

For moms who usually find themselves handling the family travel planning, the expo can be an opportunity to compare destinations, accommodations, flights, and other travel options in one place before deciding where the family should go next.

Travel Sale Expo 2026 will bring together airlines, hotels and resorts, tourism organizations, embassies, and local businesses offering travel packages and essentials, with participating exhibitors offering discounts of up to 75%.

Travel Sale Expo 2026 was officially presented to the media during a press conference held on September 17 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Makati.

Representatives from government agencies, diplomatic missions, tourism organizations, airlines, travel companies, and other industry partners joined the event.

Among the panelists were H.E. Malik Melvin Castelino, Ambassador of the Embassy of Malaysia; Director Mohd Faizal Sharip, Tourism Attaché of Tourism Malaysia; Madam Victorina Hesti Dewayani, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia; and Ferdinand Jose Q. Bagcal, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Tourism.

Travel industry representatives included Claude Angco, Manager for Passenger Services of Starlux Airlines; Marvin Noel D. Cui, Director for Corporate Affairs of Sunlight Air; Chereylyn Mae “Pheng” P. Umlas, Business Development Manager of Sunlight Air; and Philip Gejon, Sales Manager of the Guam Visitors Bureau.

Also joining the panel were Denise G. Sevilla, Administrative Officer of the Malay Tourism Office; Amabelle Nucom, Head of Usage, Partnership and Communications Management of Metrobank; and Michelle G. Taylan, President and Chairperson of GTBA-ONEKLIK.

The discussion highlighted how cooperation among tourism organizations, businesses, and other industry stakeholders can create more opportunities for both travelers and tourism-related businesses.

Parents bringing the family along won't have to spend the entire visit browsing travel packages. The three-day Travel Sale Expo will also feature entertainment, competitions, performances, raffles, freebies, and interactive experiences.

Scheduled activities include an F4 Contest, cosplay, interpretative dance performances, and a travel vlogger challenge, along with other entertainment throughout the expo.
